I firmly believe that the most efficient way to deal with a tax problem is to do so objectively and on an informed basis. To accomplish this, you need and deserve the support of a seasoned tax professional like me, who has acquired insight, sophistication and judgment through forty (40) years of tax resolution experience.

I am a member of the State Bar of Nevada, I am admitted to practice before the IRS nationwide and the United States Tax Court. I hold a B.A., in Economics from the University of Virginia, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida and a Master's degree in taxation from New York University. In 1971 I went to work for the Internal Revenue Service in Washington DC, ultimately becoming a Senior Trial Attorney. In 1975, I left the IRS to establish my own firm.

Since the inception of my practice, I have represented taxpayers in all aspects of tax planning and tax controversy work. As a subject matter expert in this field, I have lectured on numerous occasions before various Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, bar associations, and trade groups. I am the author of numerous articles about all aspects of taxation.

I have successfully negotiated numerous settlements on behalf of my clients. I was the attorney for taxpayers in cases where accepted Offers in Compromise were exceedingly favorable. For example, a child care provider who owed $60,000, ended up paying $3,500. The owner of a personnel agency who owed $300,000 settled for $40,000; I negotiated a medical consultant's liability from $500,000 to $90,000; and I negotiated reduction of a para-legal's $1,000,000 liability to $45,000.

I have represented clients before the United States Tax Court, the United States Claims Court, and various United States District Courts and Circuit Courts of Appeal. One of my cases was reviewed by the United States Supreme Court; another was the subject of a story on "Sixty Minutes," where I was interviewed by Mike Wallace.

Despite my record of favorable case outcomes, I refrain from making extravagant promises to you. Instead I promise to fully educate you about the intricacies of your case, meticulously prepare the evidence and arguments supporting you, and provide the government or the courts with the most powerful and persuasive advocacy of your position. Historically this dedicated approach has benefited my clients greatly.
